IAGA and Version1 Announce Responsible AI Advisor (RAIA) Tool
The International AI Governance Association and Version1 are delighted to announce the launch of the Responsible AI Advisor (RAIA), a new AI-powered tool designed to support organisations navigating the rapidly evolving global landscape of AI governance and regulation.
Developed by Version 1’s AI Labs in collaboration with IAGA, RAIA is intended to help organisations better understand how emerging and existing AI regulations apply to their specific use cases, technologies, and jurisdictions. The tool responds to a growing need to translate complex legal and regulatory requirements into practical, actionable guidance that can be applied early in the AI lifecycle.
RAIA enables users to explore regulatory obligations across multiple regions by describing their AI system, deployment context, and geographic footprint. Based on this information, the tool provides tailored guidance to help identify relevant regulatory considerations, governance priorities, and potential areas of risk.
Commenting on the launch, Rob Wortham, Executive Director of IAGA, said:
“Version 1 is a valued member of IAGA, and this collaboration reflects the strength of the expertise within our membership. We have been pleased to bring IAGA’s extensive competence in AI governance to bear on the development of the Responsible AI Advisor, and we are delighted to see the results. RAIA demonstrates how practical tools can help organisations engage more confidently and responsibly with AI regulation, at a time when clarity and good governance are increasingly important.”
The launch of RAIA aligns with IAGA’s mission to promote responsible, transparent, and well-governed AI systems. The tool is intended as a decision-support and advisory resource and does not replace legal or regulatory advice, but rather provides a practical starting point for organisations seeking to understand and address AI governance requirements.
A demonstration of the Responsible AI Advisor tool is now available via the IAGA website.
