Developing responsible AI: Vision and Practice

Representing IAGA at last week’s AI for Good Global Summit in Geneva, John Higgins spoke about effective and efficient AI governance through international cooperation. He described the challenges that organisations face, trying to implement AI systems in a responsible way.

John explained that underpinning standards, frameworks and guidance just aren’t yet mature enough for organisations to develop their own playbooks. He also explained why, when faced with these immature underpinnings, organisations are turning to the International AI Governance Association to learn about and share how to implement responsible AI in practice.
